The objective of my writing is to provide useful and provocative insights on the current events that shape how people live, work and interact. Drawing on long experience as a journalist and communications adviser, my focus is always on shining a light on developments that can make life more enjoyable and rewarding, as well as pointing up the foibles that bring a smile to the face.

That experience began at the New York Post as a business reporter and took me to editor's chairs at the San Juan Star and Caribbean Business, where I earned Journalist of the Year honors from the Puerto Rico Manufacturers Association. Subsequently, I became a specialist in creating and implementing communications strategies for major corporations, financial institutions and economic development organizations in Puerto Rico.

My wife, Estrella, and I currently reside in Orlando, Florida and travel as often as possible.
